  • Comments : In any skid package design one of our main concerns is the lifting procedure because this is the stage which truly validates the strength of the selected skid structure. Any miscalculation in the COG position or selection of the wrong sling length or shackle size can lead to failure or toppling of the skid.
    We therefore provide complete details for the sling (along with the loads on the sling) as well as details regarding shackle type, spreader beam, position of COG, point of lifting, etc. All of the above are considered in our analysis in order to mitigate the risk of the skid being mishandled.
